Sorcerer: Nuking class done right

The stereotype of a Sorcerer is a class that wears a light robe and uses staves to deal significant damage over a short period of time. PlayNC has done an incredible job in representing this concept strongly within Aion. Sorcerers are truly the definition of “Glass Cannon” in this game. The only mold it breaks is the weapon choice; you may either go with a spell book or the unique “Orb”.

To get a general grasp of the Sorcerer, a few of their combos will now be uncovered. Here is just a small sample of what you can expect playing Aion’s offensive spell caster.

If you do not mind sacrificing damage, this following combo offers more control.

“Air Shock” is a unique state in which the character is raised into the air and control is forfeited. They remain frozen for a fixed duration or until a specific skill knocks them back down.

Combos are not the only skills at their disposal; Sorcerers have a wide range of other single cast abilities. From high powered spells and damage over time curses all the way to teleportation abilities!

Do not be mistaken. Sorcerer will not be a class for the faint of heart; it requires you to be fast in your reaction and constantly monitor your abilities and their respective cool down. Unlike other classes that are more forgiving to error, a slip as this caster can have fatal consequences. If you can somehow manage to pull it off though, playing a Sorcerer is a fun and rewarding experience.
