Aion’s First Lv50’s, everyone can relax now.
Level 50.. feels like the first sip of a CocaCola. Aahhh..
Im sure in any MMO, you hear the level cap and think either that it seems too high or low. This of course is all based on your opinion of what is too high or low. Now insert Aion, lv50 can be looked at some as being reasonable while others think a level cap of 50 is a joke right? Wrong, not only is aion hard pressed to squeeze your mortal soul to grind day and night just to attain a level, but it’s a gruesome leveling process with little or no questing worthwhile (especially the higher you climb to 50). You can blame the east for that but regardless, if the fastest 1-80 in World of Warcraft, a MMO built and in which stands high in the west, was done by grinding, its obvious what path should be taken when leveling.
This is where Almisela and Drno come in. They are the first lv50’s in Aion and had done so by grinding their hearts out I’m sure. I am almost positive if they are not on Aion right now, they are surely catching up the countless hours of deprived sleep they have lost due to this fine achievement. We knew this would be coming and now here it is, the battle to the top has been won, while some are discerning, others can relax as the dust settles and the tension of “first to 50″ is now relinquished(thanks to Almisela and Drno of course 
).
Still racing to 50, or is cruise control good enough?

I still wanna hit 50, and get it over with, but I am playing alot but not even coming close to keeping up with people which is frustrating in itself.
Ive really stagnated my leveling at about 24
but only because when the game started i decided to take it slow, do all the quests, and actually read the stuff
course ive also been mostly gathering things for money for a few days so *shrug*

I on the other hand HATE grinding. Ok, i know that it is a part of every MMO out there, but I do prefer to quest. I think it gives a better sense of achievement knowing that you are not going to ding 50 on a wild boar!
I can’t wait until the 1.6 patch comes and fixes the dire lack of quests past 30
There are new quests in 1.6 for past 30? Awesome! I just got my second char up to 30 (not for the daeva armor, just rerolled) and am hearing from my near-50 legion mates that the rest is a total grind.
What I would like to see is enjoyable and plot-driven quests introduced, maybe with lots of stages (which may or may not have to be done first). The campaign quests are a good example, but there simply isn’t enough; in fact most zones have 1 or 2 campaign quests per level!
